Hi
It's Gold Cup day and the last day of the Cheltenham Festival.
Hoping we can finish with a bang and land a big winner!
13.30 Sir Erec
He is trading at a shade of odds-against for the Triumph Hurdle and we’re happy to back the Joseph O’Brien trained horse to deliver the goods. This horse looks like a fantastic specimen, with the four-year-old enjoying wins at Leopardstown in December and February, with high hopes for this runner going very well.
14.50 Commander Of Fleet E/W
He is a talented five-year-old who runs in the Gigginstown colours and we’re happy to back him each-way in the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle. The horse scored a win at Leopardstown in February and should enjoy the softening ground to be in the mix come the end of the race.
15.30 Native River
He won the Cheltenham Gold Cup last year and we’re happy to back this sturdy horse to claim the honours again, with the nine-year-old capable of outstaying the field. This Gold Cup course is a brutal trip of three miles and two furlongs, with the undulating track and softening ground likely to see Native River overcome Presenting Percy and Clan Des Obeaux
