I'm at Cheltenham today so I can cheer them up the hill for us!
13.30 Kildsart
Kildisart looks an excellent bet for the JLT Novices’ Chase on Thursday, with the Ben Pauling charge having enjoyed an excellent season which includes victories on his previous two outings.
The seven-year-old won at Cheltenham towards the end of January, acting excellently on the good to soft conditions and obliging over two miles and four furlongs. It’s a wide-open betting heat and we’re happy to get with this horse at a backable each-way price.
14.50 Un De Sceaux
He loves coming to Cheltenham, with the eleven-year-old boasting a formidable record and this horse has won the Ryanair Chase before. With the rain set to fall at Prestbury Park, we’re happy to take this horse over Footpad, with the latter having fallen on his seasonal outing before finishing second last time out.
15.30 Faugheen
Faugheen used to be described as the machine and we’re happy to get with the elder statesman in the Stayers Hurdle, with Paisley Park trading as the race favourite. Paisley Park has swept all before him this year although he hasn’t come up against a classy animal like Faugheen and Ruby Walsh will be confident of powering up the hill with a strong finish.
